The GILLIAM Cemetery has many graves but only four of them have markers.

Consort of
John GILLIAM
Died June 16, 1852
Aged 58, 16 days
[Though this WPA transcription reads aged 58, it is believed that Judith is Judith Robertson, born 1774. Another WPA transcription reads:
In memory of Judith
Consort of John GILLIAM
Died Dec. 16, 1857
Age 83 years and 1 month
This one appears to be correct.]

In memory of
Martha
Consort of
John R. GILLIAM
Born 1807
Died 1860
[Another WPA transcription adds
Born 2 June 1807, Died 19 Feb 1860
“Oh, how sweet to sleep in Jesus”]

Pattie Gardner
Daughter of
Thomas J. Gardner
Aged 22 yrs. and three mo.
[Though the WPA transcription reads “daughter of” and “Gardner,” Martha (Pattie) was the wife of Thomas J. Garden. See Richmond Whig & Public Advertiser married on Aug. 16, by Rev. B. L. Dabney, Thomas J. Garden, to Miss Pattie H. GILLIAM, dau. of John R. GILLIAM of Buckingham County.
Another WPA transcription reads a follows:
Pattie H. Garden
Devoted wife of Thomas J. Garden

Ages 22 years, and 3 months]

Both WPA transcriptions are #160. One was taken by Garnett Agee Williams, 21 Jan 1937 and the second by Elizabeth McCraw, 29 July 1937.
